Mrs. Cara Orange To All Instructors

As an educator with over 30 years of experience in both public and homeschool settings, Mrs. Orange strives to impart her love of language, learning, and life with all her students. In addition to studying in France for a year, Cara earned a bachelor’s degree in French with certification in K-12 foreign language instruction. She taught middle school and high school French and was the Debate coach for several years before becoming a homeschool educator in 2012. Cara is a former Classical Conversations Challenge B Director, Foundations tutor, and volunteer literacy tutor. Throughout the years, she has served as VBS Director, Adult Sunday School leader, and Stephen’s Minister. Before moving to NC, she was involved in Children’s and Backpack ministries for over 15 years. Cara currently offers tutoring and homeschool classes in the following areas: French I-III, Spanish I-III, Latin I & II, English, Essay Writing, and SAT/ACT Test Prep. While she admires the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, she is equally content listening to the waves at the beach. Cara is happiest spending time with her loved ones, visiting new places, and learning new things. She looks forward to meeting the Firm Foundations families and encouraging her students as they learn and grow.
